Workforce Solutions for Small Employers Event- 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. WSU Tech (formerly WATC building), 4004 N. Webb Rd., in Wichita. An opportunity to learn from ten organizations that offer support and training resources to help you find the right employees, train the ones you have, and offer unique solutions to employment issues affecting Kansas businesses.

Music in McPherson- 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. McPherson Public Library, 214 W. Marlin. Kyle Hopkins, associate professor of music at McPherson College, and Jennie Hall, head of adult services at the Library, will discuss McPherson's rich musical tradition starting with early city and municipal bands all the way to King Midas.

October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month
All three Midway Motors stores in McPherson will be participating in raising money for the McPherson County Women and Children Combatting Cancer group during the month of October. We have designed a t-shirt and every shirt order of $20 dollars we will donate the remainder of the money after paying for the shirt to W.A.C.C.C. The more shirts that are ordered the cheaper they are! As an incentive you will see our employees wearing their shirts and jeans on Fridays through the month of October.

October 20, 21, 27 & 28 - Historical Haunted House
The McPherson Museum will be putting on a Historical Haunted House from 8:00pm till 11:00pm at 1111 E. Kansas Ave. Enter if you Dare! Tickets are $15 at the door, $12 in advance, $10 museum members.

October 4th - Anniversary Lunch
The dealership will be providing a La Fiesta catered lunch to celebrate McPherson employee anniversaries. 

September - United Way "Jug" Fundraiser.
At Midway Motors Supercenter we are having a Jug Raiser contest for the local McPherson United Way chapter. Each water jug on the showroom has a team label on it and the three local dealerships were equally divided into teams. All spare change goes into a team jug and the team with the most change donations at the end wins a pizza party! 

September 1st - "Ford Drive One 4 UR School" Smoky Valley High School Fundraiser.
Midway Motors will be teaming up with Ford to donate $20 dollars per test drive up to $6,000 dollars to benefit the Smoky Valley High School. This event will take place at the Lindstrom College Stadium in Lindsborg from 4pm to 7:30pm.

August 25th - "Buick Drive 4 UR Students" McPherson High School Fundraiser Event. Midway Motors will be teaming up with Buick to donate $20 dollars per test drive up to $10,000 dollars to benefit the McPherson High School. This event will take place at the McPherson College Stadium during the Fall Sports Preview from 3pm-8pm on the North side of the stadium.

August 10th - "Cash 4 the Kids" McPherson Elementary Fundraiser Event. In conjunction with Buick we will be offering $20 donations per test drive up to $10,000 dollars to support our local Elementary Schools; Eisenhower, Lincoln, Roosevelt and Washington. We also will have free food from 5-7pm, music, a bounce house and the City Pool will be offering $1 swimming till 9pm.

July 27th - Circles of McPherson Dinner. Midway will be providing dinner tonight to the families involved with Circles of McPherson County. We will be offering pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and sides prepared by our very own Kevin Putman of Eugene Doyle BBQ and served by several employees of Midway Motors. Old Fashioned Homemade ice-cream will be made and served by Dennis Friesen.
