Test Drive, Think Pink & WIN at Midway Motors

Pink is showing up across Midway Motors this October, from our team’s shirts to the ribbon magnets on our vehicles. Behind it is a commitment to support people facing cancer in the communities we call home.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re making donations to local organizations, welcoming you in for pink giveaways and test drives, and offering special pricing on select Pink Ribbon Clearance vehicles. You’re invited to take part, whether you’re shopping for a vehicle, stopping by to say hello, or looking for a local organization to support.

Local Support Comes First

A cancer diagnosis can bring expenses and concerns that reach well beyond an appointment. Travel, groceries, household bills, and time away from work can add pressure for patients and their families. Local organizations help people find support close to home, from neighbors who understand their community.

This year, we’re making our October donations at the beginning of the month. The amounts are committed up front and do not depend on how many vehicles we sell. That gives our local partners a clear commitment as the month begins.

Here’s where that support is going.

McPherson — $8,000 to WACCC

Our McPherson donation is $8,000 to Women and Children Combating Cancer, known locally as WACCC.

Through its work with the McPherson County Community Foundation, WACCC helps women and children in McPherson County with expenses associated with cancer. Assistance can include medical and medication costs, transportation, nutritional needs, and household expenses.

These are practical needs that can be easy to overlook from the outside. We’re proud to support an organization that helps local families manage them. If you’d like to give alongside us, the WACCC donation link is at the end of this post.

Hutchinson — $5,000 to the Cancer Council of Reno County

Our Hutchinson donation is $5,000 to the Cancer Council of Reno County, or CCRC.

CCRC provides financial and emotional support for people and families affected by cancer in Reno County. Its work includes helping meet needs such as food, medication, and equipment. The organization states that donations directly benefit patients living in Reno County.

For our Hutchinson teams, this is an opportunity to support the same community that supports us throughout the year. You can join that effort with a direct donation using the link below.

Newton — $2,500 Committed to Local Support

Our Newton team has committed $2,500 to local cancer support as part of this October’s campaign.

Look for the Pink Ribbon Clearance Vehicles

If you’re shopping for your next vehicle, keep an eye out for pink ribbon magnets on the lot. Those magnets identify our Pink Ribbon Clearance vehicles with special pricing this October.

See one you like? Ask our team to walk you through its price, features, and availability. We can help you compare your options and get behind the wheel for a test drive.

You can also browse our inventory online before your visit. Let us know what caught your attention, and ask which vehicles are included in Pink Ribbon Clearance at your store. The magnets make them easy to spot when you arrive.

Take a Test Drive for a Chance to Win Pink YETI Gear

A pink YETI cooler or cup could be going home with you this month.

Stop by for a test drive and enter for a chance to win prizes including a pink YETI cooler, pink YETI cup, and Midway swag. No purchase necessary to enter. Ask your local team for drawing details.

It’s a good opportunity to try a vehicle you’ve been considering, ask questions, and spend a little time with our crew. Whether you have a particular vehicle in mind or are still figuring out what fits, we’re happy to help you look around.

Pick Up Some Pink and Join In

Our teams are wearing pink, and we’ve got pink gear to share. Stop by to see the giveaways at your local store. Newton’s selection includes buttons, sunglasses, socks, and other pink items; ask each location what’s available during your visit.

Wear a little pink around town, share our local partners’ information, or tell a friend about the campaign. These organizations deserve attention throughout October and beyond, and helping people learn about their work is another way to show support.

Give Directly to a Local Organization

You don’t need to visit a dealership or shop for a vehicle to help. If you’d like to support our local partners on your own, please consider making a donation through their giving pages.

Our donations are already committed. Your gift is an additional contribution to the organizations serving people in our communities. Thank you for helping us keep local support at the heart of this October’s campaign.
