The rebates are available at all dealerships that sell the particular brand you are looking for, so focusing more on the relationship with the salesperson and the Midway Family is what makes the difference. We’re here to provide you with as much information as possible to make sure you understand exactly what is available to you.
What is a rebate or incentive?
Rebates from the manufacturer are offered on most new vehicles and typically change monthly. They are a great way to make new vehicles more affordable and occasionally they can be combined with great interest rates as well.
An incentive is a reduction or special offer on finance interest rates from the manufacturer. This is typically referred to as an annual percentage rate (APR). Customers will have to qualify for the low APR offerings and need to consider whether taking the reduced rate will outweigh the benefits of the possible rebates.
1. Where do I find Rebates and Incentives?
We’ve done our best to compile all rebates and incentives for the 10 manufactures that we carry and keep them up to date monthly. It would be a nightmare to bounce back and forth between all the different manufacturer sites, so hopefully you’ll find our page beneficial.
2. How do I use a Rebate/Incentive?
A cash rebate from the manufacturer is the easiest to use and understand. It is money that you get back from the manufacturer after the sale.
• Put them toward your purchase: With $3,000 down and a $1,500 rebate you would be putting $4,500 toward the price of the vehicle.
• If you’re one of the few that will be paying for your entire vehicle, you can opt to have the manufacturer send you a rebate check.
• The last option is to use the rebate as your entire down payment if you do not have additional money out of your pocket to put down. A great option for some, but the more money down will result in a lower monthly payment and less interest paid over the long run.
3. What about other special Rebates?
• There are lots of rebates available to special groups of customers and we can help find all that apply to you. Here’s a short list of just some that customers should be aware of:
• Military: Most manufacturers offer special rebates for members of the military with proof of service. American brands pay much more attention to this and Midway Motors is All American.
• Students: There are typically additional rebates offered to students who are currently enrolled in a certain number of hours.
• Loyalty: Given by the manufacturer to loyal customers for continue to stay with the brand.
• Conquest: These are given when the manufacturers want to compete directly with other brands to attract customers to their brand.
